Workshop - Image analysis beyond borders
Join the workshop and listen to presentations about both resources for imaging and analysis, but also for science cases. Stay for the virtual theme session, bring your own questions up for discussion, display a digital poster, or just mingle and hang-around in the virtual meeting space REMO listening to the discussions around different tables and viewing the posters.

This time the HALOS poster session will held as digital event. Here are some guidelines for the conference virtual REMO space where you can gather with industry, other participants, and look at stunning posters (Friday 12 pm - 5 pm)!
… for the poster session - present a scientific poster, a beautiful image, highlight a course package or show a poster of your company
Apart from preparing the poster - all you need to do is to please register your poster here: https://forms.gle/ZY6qBApo9fjxZEbQA - Your poster will be displayed in REMO - our virtual gathering space during the meeting. You will be allocated your own table, and 6 other participants can join your table at the same time to have nice discussions. Every participant can set-up a virtual poster on Friday 18.6.2021 - 12 pm - REMO virtual space - https://live.remo.co/e/halos-workshop-image-analysis-be .
… as a participant: You want to participate and talk to the poster presenters, speakers or industry representatives?
To enjoy the Virtual poster session and start chatting with any participant, register in REMO https://live.remo.co/e/halos-workshop-image-analysis-be with your name and a password. Please allow the usage of camera and microphone in your browser. The session will open only on June 18th at 12 pm. You will be allocated randomly to a table and look at that poster. Double click on another table to move. On the left hand side of your screen, you will find the list of floors. You will find tables with speaker names and poster presenters on both floors - and you can see all other participants in the chat.
You want to talk to another participant? Search for this person in the Chat function and start a private chat. You may also meet at one of the empty tables and have a chat via the video conference.

….As a virtual poster presenter
We strongly advise you not to use a standard A0 portrait layout. We rather suggest to use a landscape format in 16:9 or 16:10 for your poster. There will be a short meeting on Thursday, 17.6.2021 - 4 pm to show you how to set-up your poster.

You need some input in setting up scientific posters in a new way? Please visit:

There are two possibilities to present your poster online. (Please note: There will be no upload of your poster to the conference website)
1) Via “Share Screen
Please open your file on your desktop and click on the share screen button on your tile list.
Please note that people may only see your poster, as long as you share your screen.
2) Using the whiteboard function
You may want to use the whiteboard in order to present your work. There you can upload your poster as well as further documents.
The whiteboard is linked to your table and not to your presence, which means your uploaded poster will stay until the end of the meeting.
Participants can individually join in and comment to your poster and can even leave a message if you are not present.
For further information on how to use the whiteboard please visit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLekgUWya2k&feature=emb_logo
…. for industry
Industry representatives can be allocated their own table accessible to all participants.
We need a logo, a short video link, and their website information from you!
