Protein Science Day 2019
Come to Lund to attend Protein Science Day 2019!
Protein Science Day 2019 – Measuring interactions: from molecules to cells
Lund University, Sweden
Hosted by Molecular Recognition in Life (MoReLife), HALOS, ESS, and MAX IV
Co-sponsored by Dynamic Biosensors, Xtal and NanoTemper
Location: Belfragesalen, BMC
Matchmaking and speed-dating opportunity for HALOS projects!
Please note that this year we have a unique offer through the newly started Hanseatic League of Science (HALOS). At PSD 2019 there will be an expert panel available and depending on the number of interested we offer private match-making/guidance session of 10-15 minutes with 1-4 experts. The aim is to give suggestions of techniques and/or contact persons regarding possible neutron, electron, synchrotron- and FEL-light technique applications in life science. If you are interested, provide us with 2-6 sentences about your research or a specific scientific question you have, and specify if you already know a specific technique (and if so, what technique(s)) you want to know more about in relation to your research. The number of slots are limited."
10.20-11.05 HALOS speed-dating (meet representatives from HALOS e.g., MAX IV, ESS, the Lund University HALOS reference group and others, present your science case and get suggestions on techniques and/or who to contact for applying synchrotron, neutron and FEL methods. Sign up for this part and we will match you with one or more HALOS representative for a 5-15 minutes discussion), Dora Jacobsson or Bengt Borgström at D15 or conference room at D14 or C14.
